Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Français Flow, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. Français Flow is operated by Klaudia Kromołowska, with correspondence address at ul. Warszawska 111, 42-200 Częstochowa, Poland. NIP: 6793269779. We make these Terms available free of charge before the contract is concluded — you can print or save them from this page at any time, and on request we will email them to you as a PDF; write to salut@francaisflow.com. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

Services and their scope

Français Flow is a French-language learning platform supplied electronically. The service includes: flashcards with spaced repetition, exercises in conjugation, gender, grammar, listening and reading, a DELF/DALF exam preparation module, an AI assistant chat, and — for teachers — a class module with homework and a view of the progress of those students who have consented to share it. The service is available on a free plan, with daily limits on new content, and on a paid Premium plan. The feature set may change as the platform develops; we announce material changes as described under “Changes to these terms”.

Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. One account per person is allowed. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

Technical requirements

To use the platform you need a device with internet access, a current version of a web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge) with JavaScript and cookies enabled, and an active email address. Audio features require a speaker or headphones, and the speaking exercises in the DELF module require a microphone and your browser’s permission to use it. We do not guarantee correct operation on browsers that are no longer supported by their vendor.

Subscription & Billing

Français Flow offers a free plan and a paid Premium subscription. Premium is available on a monthly or annual basis, billed automatically at the start of each billing period. Payments are handled by our merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy, LLC, which processes the charge, applies and remits applicable VAT, and emails you a receipt (with an invoice available) after each payment. Prices displayed include applicable VAT. We reserve the right to adjust prices with 30 days' advance notice. If you do not accept the new price, you have the right to cancel your subscription before the change takes effect.

Cancellation

You may cancel your Premium subscription at any time from the Settings page under Billing, or by emailing salut@francaisflow.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — Premium features remain accessible until that date. We do not offer pro-rata refunds for unused periods unless required by applicable law. Cancelling your subscription is as straightforward as subscribing.

Refund Policy

If Premium is not right for you, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your first purchase by emailing salut@francaisflow.com or by replying to your Lemon Squeezy receipt email. Subscription renewals are generally non-refundable, but if a renewal was charged in error or you intended to cancel, contact us within 14 days of the charge and we will review your request in good faith. Approved refunds are processed by Lemon Squeezy to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days. Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights as a consumer, including the conformity rights described in the Complaints section.

Right of Withdrawal for Digital Content

Under consumer law you ordinarily have 14 days to withdraw from a contract concluded at a distance. For digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, for which you pay a price, that right does not apply where all three conditions of Article 38(1)(13) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act of 30 May 2014 are met: (1) we began supply with your express and prior consent; (2) before supply began you were informed that you would lose your right of withdrawal once performance was complete, and acknowledged this; and (3) we provided you with confirmation of the contract on a durable medium. You give that consent via a checkbox at the time of purchase, and you receive the confirmation of the contract, together with the notice about losing the right of withdrawal, by email after purchase. If any of those conditions is not met, you keep your 14-day right of withdrawal.

Sole traders treated as consumers

If you are a natural person entering into a contract directly connected with your business activity, but the contract does not have a professional character for you — as shown in particular by the scope of business disclosed in the Polish CEIDG register — you have the rights described in the sections on withdrawal, complaints and conformity of digital content, in accordance with Article 7aa of the Consumer Rights Act.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Français Flow for personal language learning only. You are prohibited from supplying unlawful content — in particular content infringing the rights of others, including copyright and personal rights, offensive content, and content inciting hatred or violence. The prohibition applies everywhere you enter content: flashcards, materials uploaded to a class library, and messages to the AI assistant. In addition, you may not: share your account with others; attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape the platform; use automated tools to access the service; or distribute our content without permission.

Content & Intellectual Property

All educational content, exercises, grammar explanations and interface design are the intellectual property of Français Flow. Flashcards you create remain yours. Some content — examples, translations, homework and voice recordings — is generated by AI systems and may contain errors; verify it yourself before relying on it in an exam context. We may use anonymised, aggregated data to improve the service.

User Uploads

Teachers may upload files, links, and other materials to a class library to share with their students. By uploading, you warrant that you own the material or have the necessary rights or permission to share it. Français Flow hosts uploaded material on your behalf and does not review it before it becomes visible to your students. If we receive a credible notice that uploaded material infringes someone's rights, we will remove it and may notify the uploader. To report infringing content or request a takedown, email salut@francaisflow.com.

Limitation of Liability

While we strive for accuracy in our French language content, we are not responsible for errors in exercises or translations. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Klaudia Kromołowska is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of this platform. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer — including your rights in relation to digital content conformity as described in the Complaints section above.

Complaints & Digital Content Conformity

We are legally obliged to supply digital content that is in conformity with the contract (Chapter 5b of the Polish Consumer Rights Act, implementing Directive 2019/770/EU). If you experience technical issues or the platform does not function as described, you may file a complaint by emailing salut@francaisflow.com. We respond to complaints within 14 days of receipt, on a durable medium — normally by email. If we fail to respond within that period, the complaint is deemed accepted (Article 7a of the Consumer Rights Act). If the digital content is found not to conform to the contract, you have the right to require it to be brought into conformity, and where that is impossible or would involve excessive cost, to declare a price reduction or to withdraw from the contract.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. These terms are governed by the law of Poland.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with Polish law. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Poland. If you are a consumer based in another EU member state, you may also bring proceedings in your country of domicile.
