Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using FrançaisFlow, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. FrançaisFlow is operated by Klaudia Kromołowska, with correspondence address at ul. Warszawska 111, 42-200 Częstochowa, Poland. NIP: 6793269779. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. One account per person is allowed. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

Subscription & Billing

FrançaisFlow offers a free plan and a paid Premium subscription. Premium is available on a monthly or annual basis, billed automatically via Stripe at the start of each billing period. Prices displayed include applicable VAT. You will receive a payment confirmation by email after each charge. We reserve the right to adjust prices with 30 days' advance notice. If you do not accept the new price, you have the right to cancel your subscription before the change takes effect.

Cancellation

You may cancel your Premium subscription at any time from the Settings page under Billing, or by emailing salut@francaisflow.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — Premium features remain accessible until that date. We do not offer pro-rata refunds for unused periods unless required by applicable law. Cancelling your subscription is as straightforward as subscribing.

Right of Withdrawal for Digital Content

Under EU consumer law, you ordinarily have 14 days to withdraw from a contract concluded online. For digital content delivered immediately upon purchase (such as immediate access to FrançaisFlow Premium), this right does not apply once you have expressly consented to delivery beginning before the withdrawal period expires and acknowledged that this means you lose your right of withdrawal. You provide this consent via a checkbox at the time of purchase, in accordance with Article 38(1)(a) of Directive 2011/83/EU as implemented in Polish law.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use FrançaisFlow for personal language learning only. You may not: share your account with others; attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape the platform; use automated tools to access the service; or distribute our content without permission.

Content & Intellectual Property

All educational content, exercises, grammar explanations, and interface design are the intellectual property of FrançaisFlow. User-created flashcards remain your property. We may use anonymised, aggregated data to improve our services.

Limitation of Liability

While we strive for accuracy in our French language content, we are not responsible for errors in exercises or translations. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Klaudia Kromołowska is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of this platform. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer — including your rights in relation to digital content conformity as described in the Complaints section above.

Complaints & Digital Content Conformity

We are legally obliged to supply digital content that is in conformity with the contract (Directive 2019/770/EU as implemented in Polish law). If you experience technical issues or the platform does not function as described, you may file a complaint by emailing salut@francaisflow.com. We will acknowledge and respond to your complaint within 14 days. If the digital content is found to be defective, you may have the right to request a fix, a price reduction, or to terminate the contract.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. These terms are governed by the law of Poland.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with Polish law. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Poland. If you are a consumer based in another EU member state, you may also bring proceedings in your country of domicile.
